Remember The Rule of Three

There is a  need for people to remember that "Rule of Three"to detect stalkers and others who might be tracking you as you go about your shopping , recreational and other work and social activities.

In many cases such persons will follow or  watch you for some time to either find out where you live or go walking or jogging alone in order to set up some sort of ambush -- or just to gather information about your activities, contacts, etc. for themselves or other persons.

So what is this "rule of three?" Simply this: If you encounter a vehicle or persons within a short period of time  -- which  could be minutes, hours, or days --  three times (or more) within a few hours or days  -- with no apparent good reason  be alert, try and get a good description --even using your cell phone camera and a licence number and good description of the vehicle. Use discretion when taking pictures of other people of course.

And then keep that description in a safe place so you can review it once in a while to keep that person's image fresh in your mind if you are really suspicious about him or her.

If you feel threatened by such a person, or course, don't hesitate to call the police  on their emergency 911 or non-emergency number to alert them about your fears.
