Be Prepared for Summer Adventures
Heading outside this summer on some wilderness camping expedition -- or other adventure -- even a family camping expedition in one of the national parks? Make it a safe adventure by being prepared.
One site which can help you do this is "preparedplanet.com." Check it out. Remember Murphy.
He is that mythical character embodying the principle that if anything can go wrong it will -- and at the worst possible time.
You might have gone on many a camping or even day trip out in one of the parks and on the river or ocean -- even a cycling trip or hike in the woods and nothing happened. But he is always watching and it takes only one unimaginable mishap you are not prepared for to cause a tragedy that will haunt you for the rest of your life .
Think safety for yourself and loved ones whatever you are doing this summer. Take the time to plan beforehand for emergencies.

Some Things to Remember When Trying to Interpret Body Language
Never fall into the trap of thinking that reading body language is easy or that it is always infallible. Remember it is only a guide -- although if you learn to do it properly a very valuable guide in getting to know people you meet.
You will find some very valuable tips in Dr. Oz's online blog. Just click on the Dr. Oz Show and then scroll down to the Oz Blog. There on the third page you will find a feature by Janine Driver telling us "Why Body Language is International" Enjoy.

Do This To Document Your Travels
If for any reason you want to be able to document where you where at a certain time (or times) modern technology provides you with an aid, even if you do not have actual living witnesses.
Let's say you have to run an errand and for some reason you want to be able prove your location at a given time or how long it took you to complete your mission for your boss. Simply go to a store with an ATM machine and make an account inquiry when you arrive at or near your destination.
The printed slip will show your exact location and the time.
Then when you are back close to your home or office etc and there is nobody there to document or witness the time of your arrive simply repeat this tactic. Go into the closest service station or convenience store and make another bank account inquiry -- or simply make a small purchase and keep the receipt, but you'll find that the ATM inquiry sheets, being a uniform size, in most cases, are much easier to file away.
This will show that you arrived back close to your home or office at that given time shown on the slip.
No it's not a perfect system but it can corroborate your activities if you feel you might be questioned and you don't have any witnesses.
