You might not suspect it if you live in the Lower Mainland area of B.C. because we are getting much sunnier and warmer weather than in June, -- but -- cold and flu season is creeping up on us.
One flu fighter is Golden Seal root Powder, part of the ingredients
of other cold medications such as Echinacae.

Breast Cancer Danger from X-Ray Radiation
Study shows some women under 30 at greater risk from X-Ray and mammogram radiation radiation than older women.
According to CBC Health News a recent study shows that, "women at hereditary risk for breast cancer who receive mammograms or chest X-rays before sage of 30 may be at higher risk for the disease European research shows."
According to this study women who carry mutations in two genes BRCA 1 and BRCA 2 should be cautious about submitting themselves to X-Rays before age of 30 according to a Professor Douglas Easton of Cancer Research UK.
Doctors stressed that this does not mean such women should never be X-rayed, but that they should ask for cancer screening through MRIs or Magentic Resonance Imaging instead of using X-rays and mammograms.
Women carrying these mutated genes are definitely more likely to develop breast cancer as result of repeated X-ray radiation according to the study.

Are You Concerned About Smart Meters? ....Then
Are you concerned about the installation of smart meters in your house or condo?
Then your first step should be to contact the Citizens for Safe Technology at : citizensforsafetechnology.org
One of the things you will find there is a flyer you can download and print to distribute to others.
Among the very legitimate issues raised by this group is that first of all the Clean Energies Act does not give Hydro the authority to do what it is doing with these meters. Others include:
There is no accountability. There is No oversight. There is not public consultations. People will be exposed to constant micro radiation. People have no choice in the matter -- even for medical reasons and the new smart meters create higher hydro bills.s
If you're not concerned you should be and at least learn more about the potential problems caused by these smart meters.
