Have A Great Holiday. See You Nest Year!
Until then keep in mind the experience of a young man who suffered a major spinal injury in a car accident.
The injury was so bad that doctors told his family that Randy would never walk again --something they didn't dare tell him.
As a result, totally unaware of the doctors' prognosis Randy lay in a hospital bed practicing the deep breathing exercises he normally used in combination with Tai chi to build and maintain his physical and mental health. He also mentally went through these Tai chi exercises as he lay there.
Miraculously after two weeks he could could move a finger and six months later Randy was back in his Tai chi class. He had to start all over again at the beginner's level, but he did progress and recover from his spinal injury.
So never say something is impossible too quickly. With the right "tools" and determination just about anything is possible.

The Cause of Newtowns
In the post below you'll see that experts claim Asperger's disease would not have been the cause of the Newtown Tragedy -- and that is true.
One of the major causes of such violence is the steady diet of violence and mayhem we are fed not only through daily television programs but also video and other games.
True, such a steady diet of murder does not cause everyone to go off the deep end and murder or hurt others -- but it does affect too many young minds (often already floundering in a sea of emotional problems already) in this way.
The route to ending or reducing such carnage is not just through stricter gun control in the United States and other countries but also the elimination or reduction in violence we are feeding our minds with through television programs, movies, and video and computer games -- not to mention the newest craze: professional kick boxing or mixed martial arts contests.
A steady diet of such bloody mayhem has to affect the brains of all of us -- to various degrees; you have to remember that members of the Special Forces reportedly go through a desensitization to killing and then a reverse process (which sometimes does not work) when they leave the miliary so a steady diet of violent programs and games has to cause, at least somewhat, the same effects in the minds of persons addicted to such things.
With all of this our society today is very similar to the last days of the Roman Empire during which much of the ruling class and the rest of Roman society became obsessed with violent gladatorial contests. We have to expect more Newtowns unless we change as a society.

ON The Wrong Course with Heart Protection
Are trying to lower your cholesterol level -- and keep it down?
If so, you are on the wrong course to protect your heart according to guest doctors on the Dr. Oz Show today.
Even Dr. Oz was surprised by this as a young doctor he was taught that high cholesterol is the culprit everyone must beware of.
But this idea is a myth according to these doctors.
For more information click on www.doctoroz.com
P.S.
Guest doctors on the show today also mentioned how some alternative remedies such as hibiscis tea are just as effective at lowering blood pressure as some pharmaceutical remdies.

Code Word Fallacy
Trust your password to protect your bank account -- or computer?
Most of us do but you should see what the latest copy of Wired magazine has to say about this trust.
Just remember, just like terrorists who are continually looking for new ways to circumvent our protective systems to destroy us , other criminals are constantly looking for new ways to rob or defraud us.
We can't be complacent and should be looking for new ways to protect ourselves.
P.S. Incidentally those small wallets that can protect your personal data on credit and other cards are now easy to find in stores.

Nurses Death A Perfect Example
This nurse's death, as reported in the post below, is a perfect example of the need for people to stop and think about how their action -- even if no harm is intended -- are going to affect other people.

When Was The Last Time?
When was the last time you were in touch with the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre?
It's not a bad idea to make it a regular practice. Simply type in: Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre to keep up to date on all types of scams -- including identify theft.
One of the latest scams you will find information on there is the one where you received a message --allegedly from either CSIS or the RCMP telling you that you're computer has been locked down because it was suspected of being involved in child pornography and that you have to pay $100.00 to have it unlocked.
But make sure you check on the different types of identity theft scams that keep popping up and how you can protect yourself.
