Many persons out in Vancouver BC were very concerned about the possibility of being showered by radioactive materials with the Jet Stream passing at times right over the area.
Thankfully it looks like even if that does happen the strength of any radioactive particles will be greatly reduced, but it is still something to keep an eye on that is for sure.
It's still good to be prepared as many persons apparently happen because we could still be in for some nasty surprised if the reactors in Japan meltdown completely or release more radiation than expected.
