To coupon or not to coupon to protect your savings and make those dollars stretch a little more -- that is the question.
Many persons -- especially down in the U.S. where retailers are much more liberal and allow customers to "stack" coupons or use more than one coupon on an item -- go bonkers over coupons. And actually make it profitable.
Up here in Canada where retailers are more restrictive -- and where -- with the exception of a few stores Like London Drugs -- don't allow much "stacking" things are a little more restrictive.
You can succeed in saving money with coupons here too as well, but you have to plan things carefully to take into account how far you shave to drive to make use of the offers on coupons and whether you actually have any use for the discounted item, but with careful planning many Canadians do gain some good savings with coupons.
