We're Walking A Thin Salt Line According To This Study

According to a recent new article  thestar.com while you shouldn't be adding extra salt to the average meal you don't want to cut it out completely.   According to study quoted in this article  while too much salt is a killer -- so is too little!


The study was conducted by a Dr. Martin O'Donnell, as associate clinical professor of medicine sat McMaster University in Hamilton On.


Don't grab that salt shaker if you are on a sodium restricted diet, because the doctors involved in this study still warn that too much salt leads to high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease.


But they say so can cutting out sodium or salt completely.


In the study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association Dr. O'Donnell said, "We did find that too little salt was associated with an increased risk" of cardiovascular disease as well.
