Does your life story need editing? Whether we realize it or not we are all players on the world stage. We are all acting out our own personal story -- our life story. And like Scrooge in that old Christmas classic make needed changes to build a happy life and future.
But to make it successful we need to stop take a look at what story we are writing Ask yourself, "Where did I come from? Where am I now? Where am I going to end up if I continue on the present course?" as Bob Sands of American Writers & Artists wrote in his article, "The Power of Story".
In his article Sands uses the example of old Scrooge who was reminded of humble beginnings, the miserable miser he had become, and what would happen if he continued his wretched course by three ghosts. Fortunately he story had a happy ending because he responding positively to what he saw.
We won't have the help of those three ghosts, but we too can protect ourselves from bad outcomes. -- if we just stop once in a while to review what we have become. And then act positively if we don't like what we see.
If you do this -- and make necessary changes that will help protect -- no matter how far in your life story you've come so far -- your tale can still be a success and one that will help others on their journey when they read or hear your life story.
