Protect Yourself from Failure

Here are three  tips on how to protect yourself from failure -- although at first they might seem contradictory!.

The first is a quote from  Thomas Watson, founder of IBM who said: "If you want to succeed double your failure rate."

And yet another one -- this one from John Keats reminds us: "Failure is in a sense the highway to success, in as much as every discovery of what is false leads us to seek earnestly after what is true, and every fresh experience points out some form of error which we shall afterward carefully avoid."

The third  is from Lewis Lehr, former Chairman 3M Corporation. He said: " If you don't have failure, you aren't doing it; And if you aren't doing, you can't have success."

If you would like more ideas on this type of thing check out Head Strong How to Get Physically and Mentally Fit by Tony Buzan, who collected  these  quotes in his book.

It is really an interesting and motivating book published by the Thorsons division of Harper Collins.
